Letter to Pastors

Dear pastor and/or church leader,

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Paradosis.  We would love the opportunity to worship with your church and encourage you through song, teaching, and drama.  In case you wondering who we are, let me start off by saying that we reside in Jackson, MO where I am a full-time music teacher in the Jackson school district and Kasey is a receptionist at a local doctor’s office.   We met at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, where Kasey received a bachelors of music in musical theatre and I received a bachelors of music education with a minor in music ministry.  We were also both very active in music & drama ministry throughout college while traveling with Spirit Wing, Closer, & In Character, as well as other musical groups, sharing the gospel of Christ through song and testimony.  We have a sincere heart for the Word of God and carrying it to the nations.
With a strong background in theatre, Kasey has taken the stage numerous times as an accomplished actor and director.  Uniting her passions for music and drama, she has a story to tell and a message to bring with her own testimony of God’s work in her life.  As a director of shows and student-director of several ministry groups, she has had great experience with programming and skillfully crafting her art for the glory of God.  Kasey is currently pursuing a Masters in teaching.
I (Jordan) have been on church staffs as Worship Leader & Children’s Minister, as well as, Centrifuge staffs (a Lifeway youth camp) as Bible Study Leader, Program Director, Choir Director, & band member.  I have had opportunities to lead worship at Grace Church in St. Louis (a mega church of St. Louis) and many other churches of various sizes throughout Missouri and Illinois, as well as many retreats, camps, and even a Chuck Colson Event at Missouri Baptist University ministering to hundreds of ex-prisoners who have found God through prison ministry.  I have filled the pulpit in the absence of area pastors and am pursuing a Masters of Religion (concentration in Worship Arts) from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ultimately, we are just people.  Believers who have been humbled by the power and greatness of God.  Whether you are looking for a guest worship team for a worship service or your pastor and/or worship leader is on vacation and you need a fill-in, we would love the opportunity to meet, love, and encourage your people.  We are also available for workshops pertaining to drama and/or worship ministry.  Financially, we operate through a love offering.  The funds that are given will go directly back into Paradosis.  With this gift we are able to travel to other churches, give to other ministries, and/or purchase items needed to further the ministry of Paradosis.  Thank you for your time and thank you for your ministry that you are daily committing your own lives to.  May God shower you and your congregation with many blessings.

Your brother and sister in Christ,

Jordan & Kasey Cox
